Kids SPOT Behavioral Therapy FAQs

Are You Accepting New Clients, and How Long Is the Waitlist?

Because Kids SPOT has multiple locations, our waitlist and onboarding process can vary depending on which center you’re interested in.

We invite you to get in touch with us for the most up-to-date information on our current waitlists.

What Insurances Do You Take?

We are in-network with most major commercial insurances and Medicaid. Once you complete the paperwork to apply for pediatric therapy services, we’ll let you know if your insurance is accepted or if there are any issues.

How Much Do Pediatric Therapy Services Cost?

Most of our therapies are covered by insurance. We’ll review your benefits and what your insurance company will cover to determine the exact amount.

We also offer private pay options to cover the cost of pediatric therapy.

Do You Accept CareCredit Payments?

While major commercial insurances and Medicaid cover most Kids SPOT services, we understand that financing deductibles, copayments and services not covered by your specific insurance plan can be challenging. A CareCredit health care credit card may cover these costs.

Kids SPOT happily accepts CareCredit payments to help families finance the various costs associated with speech, physical, occupational or ABA therapy services. We encourage you to visit the CareCredit website for more information about financing Kids SPOT services with a CareCredit credit card and whether you qualify.

Do You Provide In-Home and/or Clinic Services?

Yes, you can count on our team of therapists and medical professionals to deliver in-home, daycare, telehealth and clinic services throughout Florida and Texas so that your child can grow and reach their highest potential.

What Areas Do You Serve?

We offer our services at multiple locations in Florida and Texas through our family of companies. Check out our locations page to find a Kids SPOT center near you.

What Ages Do You Serve?

At Kids SPOT, we meet the therapeutic needs of children from birth to 21 years of age with differential diagnoses.

What Is Pediatric Therapy?

Pediatric therapy focuses on delivering a personalized approach that considers each child’s health requirements, personal demands and lifestyle. The result? Effective therapy services for your child that include a treatment plan and a carry-over at-home system.

What Is Speech Therapy?

Speech therapy can assist with disorders and delays in areas ranging from oral motor dysfunction to fluency/stuttering. It aims to address issues with speech, verbal and nonverbal language skills and swallowing irregularities.

What Is Physical Therapy?

Whether it’s sports injuries and pain or nerve, spine, brain or genetic disorders, physical therapy can help children restore function, mobility, balance and coordination.

What Is Occupational Therapy?

Through occupational therapy, our therapists help children improve their basic motor functions and reasoning abilities. These capabilities help them more effectively perform tasks at home and at school and achieve greater independence.

What Is ABA Therapy?

Applied behavioral analysis (ABA) therapy focuses on addressing and improving behaviors ranging from social skills to independent functioning abilities. At Kids SPOT, we take a play-based approach to ABA therapy, allowing kids to have fun and express themselves.

How Long Should Therapy Services Last for My Child?

Because each child has different needs, therapy timelines can vary. We provide evaluations to develop individual treatment plans, and we offer reassessments during treatment.

What is the Early Steps Program?

Early Steps is a government program for children birth to 3 years of age. If your child is eligible, the program will take care of payment.

Your child might be eligible for Early Steps if they are diagnosed with any of the following:

  • Neurological Disorder
